The Instructor's Corner will change on a periodic basis. New and interesting teaching tips, laboratory activities and other instructional materials and tips will be offered on this page. We hope this page provides you with some helpfull materials that will make teaching the subject of computers and electronics a breeze. Below is a list and description of Current Instructional Activities which can be accessed by clicking on the subject summarized below the list. We add new material to the site on a regular basis. If you find that you don't have time to look through the site to find new articles, teaching tips, or tests and would like for us to place you on a mailing list to notifiy you of additional items, you may do so by e-mailing us with a brief note "Add to Distriibution List." and we will place your name on the group list. The group list will not show your e-mail address to others but will be placed on a "subcriber" list so that no one will use your address for spam. Just let us know if you wish to be dropped from the list. Also, check our FTP files for newsletters and new practice tests and study guides.

This outline is an excellent start for an instructor to begin planning his/her time for the Computer Service and Repair Course based on the use of the Computer Service and Repair Textbook by Richard M. Roberts. The course is designed in such a way as to be appropriate for both college level term-by-term courses or a high school level program designed for a year-long offering. The course and associated Lab Manual can make for a highly movtivating course which is packed full of "hands-on" learning experiences.

This activities includes a sample motherboard, a sample test/quiz idea that can be used on manyu different computer parts, and a good resource for instructional materials.

This instructional aid that allows the student to gain valuable practice on multiple boot systems, while allowing the instructor to maximize the amount of equipment available. Typically, you will have less than the number of student stations to optimize your laboratory and this activity can help you make the most of what you have.

This lesson and handout gives both the instructor and the student a good comparison between the two XP systems. It comes complete with review questions.
